The Advanced Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Applied Machine Learning is designed for learners who already possess foundational knowledge of AI and data science.


This 6–9 month programme focuses on advanced machine learning, deep learning architectures, data engineering, and enterprise-level AI applications.


Graduates will gain practical experience in deploying AI models and managing real-world projects for business, finance, and technology sectors.

Course Period: October – March


Please note that successful graduation from this programme requires the timely completion of all assignments, as well as maintaining a minimum attendance of 75% for local students and 90% for international students.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Age: 18 years

Academic qualification: Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Applied Data Science from Nanyang Institute of Applied AI.
OR Polytechnic Diploma Holder in the relevant of study from a local polytechnic in Singapore.
OR An approved Diploma or Advanced Diploma in the relevant of study from private education institutions of Singapore with prior entry requirements as GCE ‘A’ level Examination or Equivalent (when admitted to qualifying Diploma).
OR Pass in Year 1 modules of Bachelors degree qualification in the relevant of study with prior entry requirements as GCE ‘A’ level Examination or Equivalent (when admitted to qualifying Bachelors qualification).

English Proficiency Level: Obtain at least 70% marks in Nanyang Institute of Applied AI English Language Placement Test (equivalent to IELTS 6.0 in reading and writing)
OR IELTS 6.0
OR An equivalent English language qualification

Assessment and Graduation Requirements

The Advanced Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Applied Machine Learning is assessed through a combination of multiple-choice quizzes (MCQs), practical laboratory work, advanced assignments, and applied project-based evaluations. There is no traditional academic thesis requirement.

Assessment weighting may include:

MCQs and quizzes: 50%
Assignments, laboratory work, and applied project assessments: 50%

To be awarded the Advanced Diploma, students must pass all required modules, successfully complete the applied project, submit all required coursework on time, and meet the minimum attendance requirements (75% for local students and 90% for international students).
